Has anyone used Gretel?

Apparently Gretel is a free service to claim lost investments, accounts & pensions etc. I haven't come across them before & wondered if anyone had used them at all. The free service & handover of personal details always makes you wonder. Any info greatly appreciated, thanks.

It would appear not to be a scam but it is very new and as you say they must have a way of making money somehow.
There are other free ways to look .
Find lost or dormant bank accounts: reclaim cash - MSE (moneysavingexpert.com)

https://www.gretel.co.uk/terms-conditionsLooking at its parent company's webpage, IntelliTeq, it gives me the idea it might try to charge financial services companies for reuniting them with their "disconnected" customers as well.

Thanks very much for replying & I will take a look at the links as well. Much appreciated.0

Looked at it a few weeks ago, but it only appeared (at the time) to cover a modest number of banks, etc. It felt like they need more time to expand coverage.0

I signed up to this service today to try and recover a lost pension from about twenty years ago. The website was easy to use but after handing over my personal details, including my National Insurance number, unfortunately they were unable to recover details of any of my pensions - even the ones I am in touch with.

Like CarlosBrave, I signed up today and the site is very easy and found previous addresses instantly but failed to locate HSBC, Nat West And Nationwide accounts that I know of ... so great idea but no use at all at the moment.
