AVG Virus Scan - ntoskrnl.exe change???

Every time I do an AVG virus scan, whilst scanning it picks up:
File: ntoskrnl.exe
Result/infection: Change
Path: C:\windows\system32\ntoskrnl.exe
However, when the scanning has finished, it says it hasn't detected any threats/infections.
Is this anything to worry about, or something I can fix?
Any advice (in relatively simple terms!) would be much appreciated.
Thanks in advance

ntoskrnl.exe runs in conjunction with explorer.exe so that windows runs.
If, at any time you change anything in Windoze such as your screen saver or colour of an object, or even how often you play certain types of music, this is all recorded and matched against the last time the system booted up.
Have you recently done any windows updates recently?0 -

My AVG showed this plus kernal32.dll-change
user32.dll-change
shell32.dll-change
hosts-change
After looking on the Grisoft site I came to the same conclusion as Red Rose Exile.
Probably resulting from the Windows update on Tuesday.Move along, nothing to see.0 -
No, this issue has been showing for a month or two now, and happens every time I do a scan, regardless of any windows updates.
From what you say, if I start the computer, do a scan (and absolutely nothing else), then re-start and do another scan, it shouldn't show up the second time?0 -
