Annual Leave
There is no CSD (continuous service date) used to calculate your entitlement to annual leave. Any previous service with a recognised NHS organisation will be used to calculate your entitlement to annual leave; any break in service would not be taken into account.0 -
Well some good news. After being told by some HR minion basically tough s**t, my wife wrote an email to the head of HR who looked into it for her. She looked at her original job application and could see that her previous service was detailed on her application. She said that clearly she should have been given the long service leave from the day she started and the error was with HR. She has therefore overruled the original decision and told my wife that she can have all her lost leave back, either as pay or leave. 21 days in total, so well worth escalating the complaint.7
