Calculation

Just done the calculation as on the web site, which shows that a fix will cost me 132% more than what I am paying. However, as the fix that I am on now commenced in October 2021, and the E.on on line v14, is by far the cheapest going forward, it is not surprising that my monthly direct debits are about to rise from £110.00 per month to £232.00 per month. It does mean, as I see it the advice about going over the 95% increase is not viable is rather erroneous, as is there anything cheaper than gas. 9.84 p/kWh with s/c at 27.22p per day and electric at 38.37p /kWh and s/c at 42.24 p per day.

You need to compare the Apr 22 capped rates to the new one offered and find the % increase, not your old fixed rates.

If you could really get a fix at 32% more than 10/21 prices, you should tear their arm off!

How exactly do you get the Online V14 offered? We are currently on V19 and the V14 is a May tariff.

Are you sure this is an offer still available to you?

Is that from the EON page or some third party website?

If you really managed to get onto the V14 it would be a 43% increase on current SVT. I have used the 18360 and 1820 consumption you used in another thread.

Unless the OP is managing multiple energy accounts, they seem rather confused.
Could they confirm what tariff they are currently on and what fixed rate deal they have been offered to follow it?
