Heads up, compers! In order to investigate a technical issue, we've had to move some of the older threads from Game Over into a new category called 'Game Over Archives'. It'll be comps from before 2017, so shouldn't have too much impact on your day-to-day Forum experience. Thanks for your patience!

It's a hard question to answer, because it depends on what competitions you do/don't want to enter and which system you want to use. Some (like me) work through the competitions working from the oldest posted to the newest at the top of the board. Others 'end date', meaning they enter competitions as they get near to when they will end.
I would suggest that a good starting place would be to read this guide: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4896515/new-compers-please-read-competition-board-useful-links#latest
Have a look there at different ways to sort the board. It will help you to work out which comping method you might prefer.
If it's all too confusing, you could just scroll through the Competition Time board, entering any that stand out for you. That would give you a general 'feel' for the board and perhaps some thinking time to see what the board has to offer. Here's the link for that: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/categories/competitions-time.
Last point is, don't count on winning lots, or too soon. For most of us wins are scarce, these days, but it's such a lovely feeling when you do win.
Good luck

Competitions are posted on the Competitions time forum.
Social media competitions are good but there will be loads of scammers messaging you or commenting saying you have won, I'm not sure how savvy you are with things like that.
The magazine sites are safe, but you have to sign up to all of the site you want to enter them on. You can enter most of them every day, so less chance of winning, but if you were worried about safety it is a good place to start. I have won from them before, with just entering the once. You'll usually email you if you have won and they post out the prize or email it over.

Gleams, Rafflecopter, Rafflepress and similar are good, I used to get a fair amount of wins from them, usually hosted by bloggers. They usually have a few different ways to enter, so enter as little or as much on them as you like, it is like a task checklist.
Daily click to wins are super easy. Log in, click the prize you want, click enter and move on. Sometimes there is a little advert you have to close but otherwise quick and easy to enter whilst doing other things. But again, most of these you can enter daily, so those that enter every day would in theory (although not always) have more chance of winning and these are safe.

If you anyone has any issues or concerns about a competition not being genuine, then they will hopefully comment on the post, so they should be fine! Just check where emails and messages comes from, if in doubt, you can message some of us or post in the Chat section and ask 😊
There are also Free Spins you can do daily: Free Spins Sites etc.
And you are very welcome to join in the Compers Challenge 2022
I know it is half way through the year, but we have fun sharing our wins and trying to cross off things on the challenge, the more the merrier.
Best of Luck!
Don't forget to post your wins, it helps to everyone if you thank people too if you get a win, it helps encourage some people. If you put an at sign @ in front of someone's name like @Chrissymac44 then it will tag them and they will get a notification.
Wins can be posted here: I won! I won! I won! and photos of your wins can be posted here: Winners Post a Picture Of Your Win Thread You can also hit the Comp-lient button on someone's thread/post/comment to thank them too!
