Help: Cannot get notification's for playstore app updates on my android phone.

Hi guys
Need your help and advise please.
I have a Samsung Galaxy A52s 5G the problem is i cannot get any notification's for App updates form google playstore i have tried everything in the settings afaik
when i first got the phone they worked fine but then they just stopped.
My google emails work fine with sounds as well.
Any help would be much apricated, its driving me mad because i have to keep going to playstore app and check everyday for the updates.

Have you tried

Play Store, Account (top right multi-coloured button), Settings, General, Notifications    check the switches are "on".

yeah tried that they are on thank you.

Have you also checked the phone's settings ?  Settings > Apps > Google Play Store > Notifications.

On my phone, Gentle Notifications is enabled by default.  That may need to be disabled to allow audible notifications.
