SP massive increase

ive been watching SP prices since i joined in jan
today they have wacked there 1 year fixed prices right up

Electric Standing charge

43.14p

Primary unit rate

79.18p

Gas Standing charge

21.46p

Primary unit rate

23.44p

just yesterday could have had it a LOT cheaper and lastweek it was a 2 year deal same price
them prices are just mad nobody would take them would they

It based on the forward predictions of the unit price over the next year unfortunately

As above. If you are not prepared to accept higher prices then what is your alternative plan?

Whilst you are still feeling angry/worried, I suggest that you send a polite but firm email to your MP. They need to know - by the bag load - what people think about the present situation and the need for some Government action.

hope this is sorted by jan24 when my contract is up, exact usage costs £110 p/m, would cost now £335 i`m like ehh
oh and i`m at work during the day so no heating or electric on in working hrs,no idea how unemployed pensioners and sick etc to cope, very worrying

Everyday there are numerous new threads from people shocked to see how much gas/electric is going to be for a while. It's quite concerning.
