Second Sky Box

Hi, wondering if anyone can help me.....my dad has offered to get a second sky box (and tell them its for a bedroom) and let me have it all i will have to pay him is the monthly subscription for around £10 for all the channels as he gets the full package....my query is because i have my own house can he do this or do the two boxes have to be connected together someway in the same house. We stopped the sky around 6 months ago because it was too expensive but my kids miss it and this is the only way i can afford it again.

Think again, you can't use your dads second box at your property, they are not that stupid and need top be connected to the telephone line.

espresso is right. Multiroom boxes must be connected at all times.
