I still don’t have a user account - my energy services were due to be switched on the 11th.
I checked on Monday & was told that there was a delay due to the faster switching - the systems can not cope - my electric was switched on the 11th, but my gas was delayed to the 15th. Also because of the delay it has caused problems with sending out the welcome e-mail to set up the user accounts - and this is impacting about 200 accounts.
The issues should be sorted by the end of this week, I was advised - we will have to wait and see I suppose

I haven't heard anything from GEUK since receiving their initial welcome mail on 25th July but I have received a "sorry to see you leave" letter from my existing supplier, a direct debit has been set up and Green Energy is showing as my supplier on the MPAN database so I know that the switch is progressing.
As I will be paying more for my electricity following the switch than I currently do now I am quite happy with the delay.0 -
I switched on the 11th and find that the app on my iPhone started working yesterday afternoon.
It shows an account number and a site number. I don't understand the difference between the two.0 -
My switch went through on August 9th. Still haven't had the "welcome" email with the link to set up an online account.0

You're sure it isn't in your spam folder. Do you have a second email address? For some odd reason, my main address didn't work but my gmail one did. Try phoning them, in my experience they respond quickly and helpfully.0

The switch occurred on 8th August and looking on the app they have used an estimated start reading which is a couple of kWh out but nothing too much to worry about.
From the app they seem to be expecting a reading on the last day of the month so I will see how the billing / payment progresses from there.
So no problems to report thus far.0 -
Same here for my GF account, the web login worked first (although the website doesn't appear very good) but the app is up and running (previously it did not recognise my password) and the start readings are 1-2 kWh out but OK.
Looking for a reading on the 31st, so I'm expecting monthly variable billing.0
