Morning all, grey and dull but not much rain fallen. I stuck the hanging basket in one of those gardening tubs to let it soak up the water but forgot to get DS1 to hang it back up and he's gone out now. Never mind.Mehefin, really sorry to hear about Sallylab, and hope your injury heals soon.Glad you had a nice hol RR, welcome back, and you too JackieO,Hope Mum gets a bed soon Nelski & picks up.Yesterday I mixed the dough in the Panny for bread rolls but let it do the 2nd rise in the Ninja grill after switching on /off for a few seconds. Left for a while then baked & only took 10 mins. Still experimenting with other stuff but my oven is pretty redundant now which is what I'm aiming forWe moved our old TV out of the lounge, swapped it with the one in the basement which was the newest, bought when DS2 still resided here. Can't believe the picture quality- so much better ! Been trying to persuade DH for ages but he kept saying it wouldn't fit in the corner. It does but he's built a false wall for the bracket and to hide the wires, just needs painting. What persuaded him in the end was when his pub quiz mate picked him up, saw the old one through the window and thought it was a fish tank cos it all looked purpleishRight better go and do something useful, take care all x:heartsmil 'A woman is like a teabag: You never know her strength until you drop her in hot water'. Morning all
Very wet and dull here - rained heavily all night and still drizzling now. ...still warm though. I have little one from lunchtime so no doubt we'll be out splashing in puddles later! Other than that it will be indoor play...might get her duplo out.
Nelski sorry to hear about your mum - I hope he's in a ward soon.
Ruby - pleased you had a great holiday
Mehefin - sad news x
I've been to a physio appointment this morning - not much he can do but he was a nice man! Basically everythings caused by Covid and damage to nerve endings - he gave me some exercises and said to go back if I need to. It sounds like he's seeing a lot of Long Covid patients.
Well I've got a few bits to do before little girl arrives - hope everyone has a good day x
