Look at this for a scam trap

https://www.somersetlive.co.uk/news/local-news/bath-woman-dodges-parking-ticket-7451934

A 3" diameter disc 'disabled bay sign' stuck to the floor of the bay which is all but impossible to spot when driving or reversing into the space, and once in, your car is covering it. No erect signage in/by the bay, but there's a CCTV camera hovering above it!  Nasty.

Also read the spout from POPLA who seem to believe they have acted in the interest of the motorist - Premier Park Ltd withdrew the PCN after the POPLA appeal was submitted, presumably realising that they'd been rumbled by the motorist and were Friar Tucked. Apart from copying it to Premier, POPLA  provided no other useful function as far as I can see; they did the motorist no favour.

We need to be aware of this stunt when advising on other Premier Park Ltd PCNs.

That looks like the hub cap from a mobility car. Perhaps whoever lost it should go and retrieve it.

Yet another BPA scammer.   How many more of their scammers do we have to expose before the government kick the BPA into the long grass ?

I have very little time for those who deliberately abuse disabled bays.
However where there is poor signage or markings and someone parked in a disabled bay then things are different.

This is Scummy on a completely different level - the parking company are scum for going along with this, but at the top of the list is the landowner.
Disabled provision should be clearly marked so that the who need it can easily find it and anyone else can clearly and easily  avoid it.
I wouldn't be surprised to see this rolled out elsewhere as its clearly a nice money spinner.

The government? Since when has the government had any common sense about anything? Don't hold your breath

Another case which exposes the blatant lie that "all our signage has been audited by the BPA" and shows that an office selection of master example signs are just reviewed over a cup of tea and a sandwich.
It should be mandatory that every car park is audited yearly to confirm compliance yes it would cost them thousands so what!

I've been dealing direct with the DLUHC for more than two years about private parking regulation, and believe me, they (the Government) really do want to get it right in the final version of the Code of Practice.

Mind you, I'm not holding my breath. In fact I rarely come up for air when speaking to them!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
