just to update on this one, I received an email (to an address I wasn't using for this correspondence and one I rarely check) from the solicitor acting for the claimant stating that they intend to proceed with the claim. They did offer a settlement if I contacted them within 7 days, which passed by the time I saw the email but equally isn't something I was prepared to do - am I right to think that? Still not received a questionnaire from the court so awaiting that next step.
