Pet flea and tick treatment

Hello,

We’ve got both cats and dogs and used to buy flea and tick treatment at our local Costco. It was much cheaper than vets, pet shops etc. however they’ve stopped doing it as they no longer have someone trained in store to dispense it. 

So, could you tell me the best value place to get it? I know petsathome do it via their subscribe and save service but wanted to see if there’s a better option out there.

check out online- prices vary so you need to do your research.

 Viovet, Petdrugsinline, vetuk are some suggestions.

look for confirmation that  they are registered with the RCVS and VMD which is often on a banner at the bottom of the website.

This will ensure you are buying genuine products.

To expand, any worming treatment recommendations?

Our youngest has decided he is not going to be an indoor cat (with limited courtyard access).

I used Drontal for my dog. Dronstop is the cat one.

I use drontal for my cats for worms and Advantage for fleas. Bought online from whichever of the sites that Sheramber mentioned has the best price on that given day.

I bought Anthelmin plus for my dogs.
Same ingredients as Drontal but slightly different ratio. Bought mine from Direct4Pet (was Black cat pharmacy) free delivery. You need to fill in on-line questionnaire  beforehand with pet details. helpful phone line too
