Hi
I have a Cookology Fridge Freezer CITLF177 and need a replacement bottom bottle shelf for the fridge door. Not even Cookology can help, I think its more they cant be bothered they just direct me to companies who don't stock there items.
I'm trying to find a generic replacement, I was able to get one for my mums fridge which is a 15 year old Beko in 5 mins but Cookology which is UK based manufacturing and less than 3 years old, no help what so ever
I've currently checked Random Spares, Buy Spares, e Spares & Spares 2 Go

As far as I know Cookology products are manufactured in China and imported by Wright buy/Cookology in Haverhill Suffolk
It's likely that other budget brands in the UK will also be importing from the same Chinese factories with the only difference being the name on the appliance.
Have you had a look at the Essentials/Logik range in Currys or the Bush range in Argos you may find the identical product in store, you only need to look for the same design and size of bottle shelf which you could then order from E Bay.
Or just look at E Bay for a replacement fridge or fridge freezer Bottom Bottle Shelf for any brand (I'd try the budget brands first) and compare the picture and dimensions/ fitting method with the one you want to replace.

I very much doubt you will get a generic door shelf due to the way they fit, each one will be specific due to width and fittings.

I can't see anyone making after market copy fridge door shelves. Far too many variations with not much of a market.Nearlyold said:

Yeah I'd agree with that, it's very unlikely that someone will go to the bother of copying and manufacturing fridge door shelves if they don't already manufacture shelves for their own branded appliances or supply them to other appliance manufacturers. With no "official" spares apparently available from the importer for the OP's brand of fridge freezer there is still the chance that the fridge freezer manufacturer also supplies other importers with identical appliances just with a different brand name on. The Cookology hob CIB605 is identical to the Belling IHL602 hob for example.molerat said:

as a last resort, get a piece of safety glass cut to the required size0

I think you've made the same mistake I originally did reading the post - they want a door shelf for bottles, not just a flat glass shelf for the fridge.Olinda99 said:as a last resort, get a piece of safety glass cut to the required size1 -
I've been looking at freezers on Amazon and noticed that the Cookology and SIA have identical pictures. Perhaps have a look at the SIA website?0
