HSBC 'service unavailable'

Does anyone know if the HSBC app is down for service?
I managed to log in at lunchtime and tried to move some money to Zopa but I got a message that the service was not available. I couldn't log in on a desktop as I can't get into the app now to generate a security code. When I open the app, it's just saying service unavailable. Thanks

 Might have been a temp problem, unless the problem is specific to your account. My HSBC app is working right now.

has anyone tried the ‘Manage Cards’ option?

it never ever works for me - just get a spinning wheel .....

is it just me?

afraid yes, it's just you. Have you tried rebooting your phone, and may be even re-installing the app (this could be fraught with problems though because of the weird way they authorise the app)?
