Hi all,

EDITED:

I now have this being dealt with by Sharps so thank for the feedback and they’re looking into successfully resolving this for me.

Many thanks.

J.

That is way too expensive! Sorry you’ve had problems. Did you have to pay upfront?

When I had to write a letter of complaint to a large company, I downloaded a template from the Citizens Advice website.
  • I can understand your frustration OP but the store is trying to put things right, albeit at a snail's pace.

Its seems to me that neither the designer nor the fitter were up to the job and Sharps need to take responsibility for that. The reputational damage of that kind of mistake is huge and the firm will be well aware of that so look to have the job fully rectified and some money back as goodwill.
No man is worth crawling on this earth.

So much to read, so little time.
  • Thanks for the replies. I’ll check out some template letters and pen a response today.

I imagine because a deleted post is unhelpful to anyone else with a similar problem in the future

I think it highlights that I had a problem and it is actually being resolved currently. When that has happened to my satisfaction I’ll give a full update. Companies have issues, how they deal with them is what is important to me. Thanks.
