Changing names on Disneyland Paris tickets?

Has anyone had experience with this?

I booked some adult day tickets to Disneyland Paris with a small group of friends, one person in our group can no longer go but my sibling would like to take their place. Can they just take my friends ticket? Or does it not work like that? I’m not sure our names are on the tickets or if we’ll be ID’d at the door etc.

Has anyone has this? Did you manage to change the name or did it not matter? Or did you have to refund that ticket and buy a brand new one? Thanks

Officially, you're meant to call them up and change the name because they reserve the right to ask for ID. Unofficially, it doesn't matter at all and nobody I know has ever been asked.

  • I called the resort, apparently it’s not possible to change the names, which seems odd, and instead I have to carry a signed letter from my friend and a copy of their ID? Bizarre.

I think I might try cancelling their ticket and buying a new one instead

Sorry they weren't more helpful - Disneyland Paris aren't great for having systems in place, but even for them, a signed letter and a copy of your friend's ID is a bit much. Good luck with the rebooking!
