Best extended car warranty advice?

I would like some advice or suggestions on any good, trusted, extended car warranty companies.

We have always kept up our BMW warranty which is exemplary, but this year it has rocketed to £970 for the year! :eek:

I can't fault the warranty, it covers almost everything on the car, any little thing even down to the car battery and BMW have been brilliant when we have needed to make a claim, never sherking it off and it has always gone smoothly.

With that in mind, I am reluctant to look elswhere as I doubt I am going to find this level of cover, but the cost for the year is a bit shocking to say the least so I am really keen to find out if there are any other reputable warranty co.'s out there that can offer the same/similar cover for a lot less and save me a few quid.

The car is rigorously serviced by the dealer and we would not want any repairs to be done elsewhere. (OH won't let anyone else touch the car!)

From experience in a few of the extended warranty policies they provide a very full and wide list of items covered, its just that when you try to claim you will find its not covered or will be classified as wear and tear and therefore not covered.
I would advise any one thinking of one not to bother. You would certainly struggle to get the type of cover you are used to. I think you will find that is why it is expensive.
