Thank god I've now been given a start date for my next job, won't be until the end of Sept though so in the meantime I'll expect they'll me making me jump through hoops.3

Really glad to hear you've got a start date! I hope the journey being over 100 minutes will make them stop and reconsider, especially since the new JC won't be asked to take you for too long.

Not dumb, the travel time should be 90 minutes, unless tailored to care needs or a health condition. It's a standard requirement.

Just had a response. Tomtom256 has stated the same. Wondering whether I should make the trip to the nearest jobcentre to ask. It's about an hour away. Would they even let me in the building? So so annoying. Maybe I'll just have to stick where I am as it's only until the end of September. They're unable to explain how I was able to go to the nearest centre previously. I asked over the phone before but it hasn't worked this time.
We do not have any power over moves. If you want to move to another jobcentre, you need to ask at that Jobcentre yourself. It is their decision if they will accept you, as you are under our jobcentre by postcode.

Phoned the helpline again. She explained that she was like a receptionist and didn't know anything. Wasn't able to do anything. Didn't know anything about how things work. Couldn't put me in touch with the nearest jobcentre. Wasn't able to contact the nearest jobcentre...0

Well my work coach must be one of those rare breeds that actually uses common sense.
