Another one for British Gas fixed advice

Had an email from british gas offering me a fixed rate — am currently variable.  Based on last years useage

If i do nothing GAS currently £971.38. If I move to Fix GAS £2100.44

If I do nothing ELECTRICITY currently £852.85. If  I move to fix ELECTRICITY £1615.75

It sounds grim to me but I would appreciate thoughts if this is good offer or not.

    what is your annual energy usage & what are the rates being offered?

    Based on last year 11975kWh of gas and 2495.7kWh of electricity.  

    Fixing the price will be at £3716.19 (as opposed to current price of £1824.21)

    What are the unit rates and standing charge rates on your existing and proposed tariffs?
