Quidco motor insurance not tracked

I took out a car policy with Sheilas wheels through quidco compare - 3 days ago and it still has not tracked
When I try using the chatbot - it tells me to wait 6 (SIX months - before raising it
This cannot be correct - SIX months - really ?
If I was half as smart as I think I am - I'd be twice as smart as I REALLY am.

It certainly can be correct.
Of course, it may never track, so if it does it within 6 months, that's a very good result.0
