Converting cubic feet to cubic metres. Bulb

I used 5 cubic feet of gas in the last 30 days. Am I correct saying that 5 cubic feet of gas equals to 0.1415 cubic metres of gas? It's 5 x 0.0283. If this is correct, then I can't understand why Bulb is multiplying 5 by 2.83, and not by 0.0283, hence increasing my "usage" by 100 times. And it was doing so for ages.
And here what government website says:

"
The conversion factor from cubic feet to cubic metres is 0.0283 therefore:
1 cubic foot = 0.0283 cubic metres
100 cubic feet = 2.83 cubic metres
For imperial meters the reading (in hundreds of cubic feet) is therefore multiplied by 2.83 to convert to cubic metres (if the reading to the supplier was provided in cubic feet then this should be multiplied by 0.0283). This step is not required for metric meters as they are read directly in cubic metres.

Bulb is using the correct formula. Conversion factor is 2.83

    So 5 units are about 5 x 2,83 x 11.2 = 158KWh.

    1 Unit on a ft3 meter is 100 ft3.

I think you problem is that you believe 1 unit is 1 ft3. As it is 100 of course it needs to be multiplied by the factor 100.
