Smart meter installation - anything else that can be done together?

I have a smart meter installation booked in few weeks time, wondering if there is anything else that can be done together - always wanted a smart thermostat, would they be able to do it at the same time and link it to the smart meter (I heard that is something that was tried by OVO for some customers)?

The engineer doing the smart meter install will only do the install.
One thing that is well worth doing in my opinion, is to fit an isolation switch between the meter and the consumer unit - If you ever have an EV charging point installed, you'll probably be told you need an isolation switch in place first.
