When it says someone has sent you a message, only some of my friends are shown.

Then I have to go to all my friends profiles to see who has sent me the message.

Does anyone know why?

Facebook split the messager off from Facebook, reintegrated it, split if off again and then lauded it on the app, then redesigned the website and made it more difficult to get to a Messenger only screen.

The messages and what is left of the old messaging system should be here: https://www.facebook.com/messages/ - though you should have had a notification anyway which would take you there.

The link works and I am seeing everyone who have sent the messages.

But on my facebook it is still only showing some.
