During the last month it they usually will allow you to take your current fix to the end and than start new, if you negotiate a bit 2 months also will be possible in most cases.
You problem will be that the new cap is officially is announced on 26th of August, I doubt that you will get anything worthwhile after that.
Latest fixed tariffs are already over the predicted October cap, you might win in October.
