HSBC credit card - telephone security number

Hi, I recently applied for the HSBC balance transfer card. Accepted. 

Card came last Monday. Pin arrived last Wednesday - but can’t register/sign up for online services as I haven’t got a telephone security number 🤷🏻‍♀️ 

I don’t recall them asking me to set one up when I applied for the card and looking at older threads it seems they send this to you in the post. Is this still the case, does anyone know ?

Anyone applied for a card recently?  Would be grateful if they could advise. 

Tried calling but need the telephone security number to speak to anyone 😩

It's my mistake mis-reading it and not seeing OP replied to their own post. I thought someone had bumped the post to ask about applying for the same type of card over the phone. OP just needs to ring HSBC, not a chance they only have 1 number that you cannot call through to without it. Most likely they have posted it and it's just been delayed

Just for future reference of anyone searching the same answer - you have to go into your local branch with card and ID and they will set the Telephone Security Number up for you. 

Never had this before opening a new credit card account, seems very old fashioned way of doing it!
