Joining the AA

I have been with Autoaid for a few years, having initially heard about them on this forum.
Both my wife and I are covered on the policy. I actually thought she was covered if she was in the car, but she has to be driving, which she does not do. I relaise this was my error.
Anyway, our daughter sometimes drives my car, so I thought I could change my wife to my daughter's name on the policy, but this is not possible.
I'll therefore just join another breakdown company with the existing policy expires (in 2 months)
A friend says the AA has the best  trained mechanics and the best gear too, so I'll give them a try. I have been with them previously.
Doing a quick check, there's the option to cover me only at £79, adding daughter isn't possible as she doesn't live with us. However the car cover seems good ... anybody in the car.. at £59. This seems ideal.  Am I correct .. or is this too good to be true
thanks !

I got family of 4 cover with the AA for £176 ish. Took out the deal when they had a third off.
Home, National, Relay and Onward travel. Take off Quidco or topcashback and it £84, £21 each.
Mum & Dad, Me and my brother.
We all still live at home 😎😎😎😎😎.

You, the wife and daughter should get a good price when they offer of 1/3 off.
You wife could sit in the drivers seat when the AA arrive looking like the driver 😜

Plus you can buy cover and date it to start 60 days in the future.

..been in the AA for years, not needed to use them for a long time, but by all accounts they offer a good service, (much better than some of the RAC reviews I have read). Only problem I have had is the annual "battle" when they try to stitch you up with way over inflation annual price hikes. Although a bit of a pain it is always sorted out with the annual phone call when they will drop the price down to a reasonable level. But taking everything into account I will not be leaving and would recommend the AA.
