Can someone help me work out an entitlement

I am trying to help out a tenant with a benefit issue and am wondering if someone could help me work out how much she should be getting.
She has a disabled son who probably could claim both mobility and care component of DLA therefore she should be able to get carers allowance.
She works very part time and I think earns about £50 pw.
She rents a flat from me and the rent is in excess of the LHA, so exclude that element.
If I am right, she should get
UC
CA
DLA
and she could earn about £400 pcm as well as this?

Do you mean the child has a disability and could possibly apply for DLA or do you mean that already have DLA. I assume the latter.

If the child was awarded DLA the parent could claim the carer element of the element of UC. She would not need to claim carer's Allowance (the CA would simply be deducted from the UC so makes no financial difference).

If the child had DLA there would also be extra money in UC for the disabled child.
Information I post is for England unless otherwise stated. Some rules may be different in other parts of UK.

I don’t think she is claiming any DLA at the moment.  Is the carer element of UC paid at the same rate as CA?

No. Carers allowance is £69.70/week. Carers element is £168.81/month. Although as advised by calcotti, when claiming UC there's no financial gain to claiming Carers allowance because it's deducted in full from any UC entitlement.
