Searching companies house

I am looking to build a mailing list of all those in Aberdeen who run companies that buy property to lease. I know on companies house they have several categories that apply (see below) but not sure if I can search just those categories and just where registered office is Aberdeen? Failing that and apart from googling it are there any other suggestions about to put together such a list? I would like to write to each company offering them a deal on the house I am selling currently.
68100 - Buying and selling of own real estate
68209 - Other letting and operating of own or leased real estate

Not sure I can really help, but have you tried using google as you suggest to find companies operating in Aberdeen? If you can find a good number you may well have picked up most or all of them. The other possible issue is that there will be companies in this business that operate regionally or nationally who could have a registered office anywhere. Your Companies House search (if it is possible to do) would miss these.Good luck!0

There is an advanced search on companies house which is excellent. Even allows a download which you an use as part of mail merge. You can search on postcode and types of company too with the advanced search.0

find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/advanced-search
Advanced search is above which will do what you want remembering a few limitations...
1) You can only search for the registered office not their trading location(s) many companies can have registered offices in a totally different location to where they are active, particularly small companies who use their accountants etc. You'll therefore get companies with no interest in Aberdeen but just happen to be registered there and miss a load of companies that operate in Aberdeen but use their Glasgow accountant's office as their registered address.
2) SIC codes are not monitored and there are plenty of MISC options
download.companieshouse.gov.uk/en_output.html you can also download the full db of companies as a file from this link which may make it easier to search as PostalTown is a field whereas searching for the partial address of "Aberdeen" on the website brings up Aberdeen Street London etc.
Personally I think a websearch is going to be more productive... there are 88 companies alone for the first SIC code in AB10 and writing to them all will be impractical.
