I've just had an email from Sainsbury's Energy telling me that my fix is ending on 24th September and giving me the choice of Sainsburys Standard Variable,at
Electricity: £1,002.29
Gas: £1,018.81
or  cheapest fixed tariff is 1 Year Smooth Renew v19. at
Electricity: £1,729.68
Gas: £1,768.91
but I cannot find out what the actual tariffs (price per kWh and daily standing charge) are for Hydro Electric/SSE region.
Where are they?

Also do you think that the fixed tariff is reasonable?

They really, really, REALLY, shouldn't be quoting the current SVR as if it's in any way a good comparison.
    I hate this.

You need their unit rates for the fix offer and then compare these against the predicted unit rates for the next 4 quarters from 1st Oct 2022.

Nobody knows the new SVR until it's announced later this month so how can the energy companies make a comparison with something that doesn't exist yet?

I don't want the future SVR I want to know what the present tariff rates are for  Sainsburys Standard Variable,

and  Sainsbury's 1 Year Smooth Renew v19 to enter them into my spreadsheet.

Assuming they are using your current usage to give you those figures, then the key point is that the fix is about 73% more than the current SVR. And given it's likely to rise more than that at about the same point your fix ends (and then still more in January), it sounds like a better option than just going on SVR

This is what they gave me at the beginning of July, not sure if they still apply (but I assume they would).
    Edit: I'm in West Midlands.

The unit rates I had through are

    Smooth Renew v19

    Electricity
    54.25p/kWh 41.66p/day
    Gas
    13.30p/kWh 27.22p/day

Seems around the same as the predicted October Cap, but better than what is predicted for Jan 23

You should find them in your account.

If you are not bothered about 1-2p difference you can use the one @trient posted above. Only he is most likely in a different region and rates will be slightly different.
