Thanks for everyone taking the time to respond. It’s been really helpful and given me a way forward. Just one fact I’d like to check if possible please. It was suggested that due to it being a house related sale, the FSCS would guarantee the full sum rather than £85k, which obviously makes it easier to save into one account - does anyone have any info on the validity of that guarantee?
