Good deal (relatively!) from Sky

I had been paying £87.50 pm for Sky TV, sports, netflix, multiscreen, ultra hd and superfast broadband. My contract was due to end in 1 month and I've been with them 20 years plus.
They had emailed me saying they would save me £230 per year by reducing the new contract to £113.50pm and I need take no action (very generous of them!).
This would still be a 30% increase!
I phoned and pressed the numbers for the cancelation department and told them I could not justify allowing a 30% increase and would need to cancel or reduce my package.
Straight away, and with no haggling needed, the agent checked my account and offered to renew the exact same package on a new 18 month contract at £80.50 pm, saving me just over £400 per year from their proposed renewal price.
I'm very happy with the deal and was surprised how easy it was to obtain!
