British Gas Fix October '23 v4: dual fuel only?

Is anyone on this as a single fuel only?
I'm currently on a reasonable BG fix for electricity for another year, but my gas fix ends this month. I've now been offered the above tariff, but it appears to be dual fuel only. In which case, I'd be losing my current leccy fix for a much more expensive one.
Does anyone know if BG will offer this tariff as a gas-only deal please?

No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

I have just signed up for this tariff for electricity only, as I have my gas with a different supplier. I take it you are with BG for gas, too, though? In that case, the issue may be that they won't let you be on different tariffs for each fuel. It could just be a limitation of the website, which you could resolve using the chat facility.

    Yes, BG for gas too.
Most tariffs are dual fuel or leccy only. Gas only is rarer, but i'll try your suggestion.

I hope you manage to get onto it. I wouldn't hang about, as it's likely to disappear by Friday.

(The only reason I have gas with a separate supplier is that I was with a small gas-only supplier that went bust (Zog) and so was transferred. I tried to move my gas to BG, but they said I couldn't do so on a cheap(ish) fix or the SVT, but instead I'd have to go onto an extra expensive fix. Naturally I declined!)

I fixed my electric with BG in May, then moved my gas to BG in June on SVT. Decided not to fix gas as the offer seemed high at the time. I will ask if I can fix my gas on their latest Oct offer but keep my electric on the May fix.

It didn’t even make it to Wednesday! I was offered it last night, waited to speak to the hubby and now it’s gone!
