    You do realise that thread was started by the same OP, so they are still in exactly the same position 4 years further down the line (so the inheritance is not recent as stated on the basis of the original 2018 thread)
    - Mortgage: 1st one down, 2nd also busted
    - Student Loan gone

    Shame they were not told  as the last legal owner they had the legal right to deal with the property.

    I was meaning 4 years further down the line from when they last asked for advice by starting that thread.
    Had they followed the reasonable advice given then from TBagpuss and spoken to a solicitor then perhaps they would have been advised about being the last legal owner and the right to deal with the property and got it sorted but it appears they didn't therefore I'm not sure if they will follow any of the advice given now.
