Indication of price cap for Eletricity only in Oct 2022?
Hi All,
I know the immediate answer to my question may be, noone knows for sure, but there must be an educated guess that can be made.
Basically we are all given the idea there is likely to be a 77% increase to bills, but no indication of how that will be split between Gas and Elec.
The reason I want some sort of idea is because im considering going with Octopus Go fixed for 12 months for electricity, which is on peak of 40p kwh, and off peak of 7.5p kwh.
40p sounds a lot at the moment, but I would like some sort if indication whether that will actually still be expensive after the price cap increase in Oct.

40p is very reasonable as the cap estimate is already around 45p and keeps getting even higher predictions.
Go is an EV tariff so I'm assuming you own one and can prove this to Octopus?Barnsley, South Yorkshire
