Looking to purchase a property and being asked for proof of funds Just realised that you can not get statements with name and address on in many banks for saving / ISA accounts other than the yearly statement which might not be in the 3 month time frame required for the estate agent / lender.
Example trasferred at limit ISA with Nationwide to new ISA with them at higher rate have to go to branch to get a proof of funds statement as nothing available on web site with name and address on. Sanander, I can produce a balance but without name and address on, have to wait a week for a special statement.
Surely I should be able to get a summary of funds with my name and address on from the web based systems after all I get monthly statements on my Santander current acounts?
Anyone else had similar problems?

Anyone else had similar problems? It isnt a problem.? You only have to wait a week for them to generate the statement (or go into the branch to get a transaction printout stamped by Nationwide).Surely I should be able to get a summary of funds with my name and address on from the web based systems after all I get monthly statements on my Santander current acounts?Santander, like most banks, is making the pdf version of the letter available to you. They too would take about a week to get a paper statement delivered (although the pdf version would appear on the website quicker than the delivered version).

Go into the Estate Agent's branch with your phone and show them the balance of the accounts. I'm sure I previously just sent them screenshots of my balances with no address or anything apart from my name at the top of the page.0
