What wonderful advice...not. Just what everybody wants, more utility suppliers going bust.Fun thing is, it's not even correct. What are people going to complain about?I suspect if most people simply complain about the cost of the energy that such complaints will simply be closed with no response. You can then go to the Ombudsman after 8 weeks which will also just throw out the complaint. There will be no breach, so no risk.If you can't afford it don't use it. Contact your energy provider and tell them that, you may be able to get help. I know someone who's panicking about the cost of electric heating and they've been offered alternative (shared) accomodation to reduce their bills.1 -
ioealshk said: You can also change your DD dates - pay on the 1st of September for September, then a few weeks later change it to the 28th for the October payment. The supplier will not have any money coming in for 2 months, and all within the conditions of the contract. If you then cancel your DD (so that the October payment fails), you'll normally have 28 extra days to pay it before the supplier starts threatening you with the angry letters.
Her courage will change the world.
Treasure the moments that you have. Savour them for as long as you can for they will never come back again.0 -

I saw this same thing a few weeks ago pop up on my Facebook and reported it to Facebook, who took no notice as usual.
The sooner these wild west internet platforms are deemed "publishers " and responsible for what they show the better as it will transform them completely and cut down their profits.
The OP is just showing another example of how easily people are fooled by Facebook adverts . every Facebook advert should be treated with extreme caution

I saw it posted by the same right wing people who posted the Covid conspiracy theories so probably the same groups sharing it claiming it's a government stitch up.molerat said:
