Scottish Power applying admin fee !!!

Scottish Power have emailed me to say that I  may be charged for a direct debit missed payment they say its an admin fee .I am aware that it is the terms and conditions  but come on adding more stress to the situation as it is is a little bit insulting!!!!

  • As you say, it's in the Ts and Cs, just the same as with many utilities and ISPs.

    If you know you are going to be short of funds in future, call them first and get an extension.

    You not having funds available has caused them admin expenses which they have rightly charged you for, I think most companies (not only energy) would do the same.
