How long would you wait for buyers to have survey booked in?

Hi
I accepted an offer on my house exactly four weeks ago, since then no valuation has been booked in for my house.
Every time I speak to the EA they say the buyers are still sorting out their mortgage, I have had an offer accepted on a new house (with mortgage offer issued within a week).
Just wondering how long you would wait before putting a house back on the market?
Thank you

Is the right board for your question.

As above, house buying board will get more responses, but if it were me, I'd set a deadline (7 days or whatever) then ask them to remarket. Surveys/mortgages shouldn't take more than a couple of weeks to arrange unless there's an unusual situation.1

I had some buyers leave it over 8 weeks for a survey. So I had to wait to pack.Another fortnight and they said they wanted a different survey.Next thing I know they wanted £10,000 off the agreed price for something they said was in a survey but wouldn't let me see. I was livid. I'd read about this and it seems on enquiry that it's prevelant these days among the younger set. To put pressure on at the last minute for a discount. I've seen it suggested on various sites too.I said it would go back on the market. They paid the agreed price but still messed me about even to moving day.Perhaps contact your buyers and ask when they plan this because you need to move forward.

My buyers booked survey 7 weeks after offer and at the same time asked me to break chain. Furious! Of course I said no. Suspect there’ll be more shenanigans from these very entitled buyers along the way.0
