With second hand car prices so inflated at the moment, I'm looking at buying a new or nearly new car. I think I've settled on the Toyota Cross. I had a look at BlueLight cars as I work for the NHS but I couldn't see Toyota as a manufacturer listed on there. I'm not interested in a lease hire via NHS Fleet. I'm wondering if anyone knows of some deals, websites and discounts that are available at the moment? I work for the NHS.

I'm looking to get a new car as my current one is becoming potentially economically unviable.

Look at dealers offering Affinity Scheme.

At present, any kind of offer seems hard to come by and certainly not openly promoted when they are available.

The most obvious NHS affinity scheme that was recent was the MG incentive (I note that you chose something else).  That affinity scheme no longer seems to be promoted, but a search on "MG Affinity Scheme" bring sup some cached pages that show what the offer was.  If I was NHS and wanted the MG, I would simply be asking at the Dealer for the NHS Affinity Scheme and see if that triggers any benefits.

I just did a similar search for "Toyota Affinity Scheme" and it returns some cached results - obviously not current information as the results refer to "order before Brexit" and other things that clearly date the findings.  You can't lose anything by calling those Dealers and enquiring.

Sometimes, the "linked" promotions are no better than can be obtained in any case via Brokers and such like.  Have you entered the details of the car you want into Broker sites to see what is available?

The more flexible you are on exact specification and options, the more likely you are to secure a discount.  Asking right now might just "get lucky" if you land on a Dealer who needs to achieve a sales target this month ahead of the new reg plate next month.

    Have a look here
    https://www.nhs.motorsourcegroup.com/

We got her in doors a car from them, a Vitara a few years ago and saved £4000.
My colleague is still floating around in her Yaris she bought through them and saved around the same. She recommended us for a cash bonus, so we split it.

You order and pay for the car through them but it's usually delivered to the local dealers who take care of all the registration etc.

There are some other deals from various manufacturers that are usually PCP, but if you have the cash you can settle it soon after.
My last car was on a Renault deal, I got £4500 off my new Clio RS Line in 2020.
All I had to do was show them my Bluelight card, they even throw in any paint for free.

Fiat/Afla/Jeep/Abarth used to do Affinity and Privilage deals (one for Cash and one for PCP).
All you needed was an NHS assignement number and ID.
I had a new Abarth in 2018 and saved £4000, then some fecker stole it!

Similar to Motorsource is another special dealer called Griffin Mill who do the same thing.

I would recommend taking another look at NHS fleet just to make sure you're not interested - I had a look for me and the net cost of a new electric car (i think it was the Peugeot 208 I looked at as an example) was £150 a month (plus recharging costs). Not able to go electric at the minute but will be taking another look when I move house. If you've got the £20k sat in a bank, might be worth crunching the numbers and see if worry free motoring for £150 ish a month is better than spending the £20k.

Where are you seeing that? I can't see any cars for less than £350/month

Motorfinity is a really good option what I believe plus the biggest benefit is their service, dedicated account managers take all the worries from your shoulder.
