Have you considered how many taxis she could order in the next year for what you could spend on the insurance?

Yes I have, but I think it’s important she continues to drive otherwise she’ll lose the skills she’s spent so much time and money  learning.  Good thought though, thank you!

She'll lose them anyway being in London for three years.

Don't rule out a new car.

Can be viewed by ins as less of a risk, they will be inclined to take more care of it.

Yeah we’re not going to have the money for a new car.  Maybe buy some lottery tickets 😀.
