looking for an app to do round ups and/or automatic savings.  Anyone used Plum, chip or money box before?

Many on here see them as gimmicky when compared with 'proper' saving of meaningful amounts, but if you're looking for more information about them then you could do worse than MSE's article or other threads returned from searching on the forum:

Have you considered Chase? As well as round-ups paid into an account paying 5%, you can get 1% cashback on debit card spending for the first 12 months, which is a more valuable benefit while it lasts.

I have but we use a joint account and sadly chase doesn’t accept joint applications

Get one account, while setting it up it loads debit card to phone either Google wallet or Apple Pay if you want
Then give wife the debit card.
2 payment methods one account.
Not sure if it allowed.
But works.
