    The last thing that I would want is a 3/6 month Winter bill hitting my mat. Fixed monthly DD payments aid personal cashflow; usually cost less overall, and any credit balances are 100% protected by Ofgem. I can manage my DD payments very well with Octopus Energy's DD adjuster. All they seem to want is enough credit in the account to cover the following month's bill in full. I am really not sure why people are advocating paying in arrears.
