Composite sink dye/colourant

This might seem like a bit of a silly question, but does anyone know if you can buy a dye or stain to recolour a composite sink? We moved house last year and inherited a black, undermount sink. Unfortunately it hadn't been treated very well, and despite me using non abrasive cleaners, oiling it etc, it still looks terrible. Does a product exist that I can use to recolour it back to black? Unfortunately funds dont allow for a new one at the moment.

I hate these sinks and the person (I'll be sexist and say it was a man) who invented them.

Thankfully ours is not black but a cream colour which is a nicer choice.  But stains so quickly - leave a tea bag in there for more than a minute or two and you have a problem.  Our solution is to wipe it regularly with bleach.  I don't know what that might do to a black sink but at least you'll know it's clean.

After 2 years my new black composite sink was looking very dull and cloudy. I used neat white vinegar, left it to soak for no more than 5 mins, then rinsed off with dish soap and warm water.  Sink now looks and shines like new.

I know calcium aka limescale can make it look cloudy, so maybe a quick squirt of vinegar would help.

as for being designed by men, well its definitely a case of form over function! Saying that I had a black sink in my last house, and after 8 years it still looked pretty much as good as new. This one is unloved and neglected.
