Solicitor trying to get involved in the SAR I sent to PPC?

Hi all,
I am currently challenging a parking charge I was given. I received an LBC and at this stage sent an SAR to the PPC. I also sent an email to the solicitors, informing them that I had sent an SAR to the PPC, as per the advice in the sticky thread on this forum. This was all done in mid June.
I have this week received an email from the solicitors (note - not the PPC!) asking to confirm a few data protection questions before they can reply to me. I never asked them to reply to anything, I was expecting a reply from the PPC if anyone, as they were the ones I raised the SAR with in the first place.
are the solicitors trying their luck with me here? do I need to reply?
Thanks for any help,
D

You would have been advised in the NEWBIE sticky to send a letter to the solicitor stating that, whilst you deny any debt, you require them to put the case on hold for 30 days in line with the pre-action protocol for debt claims as you are seeking debt advice. This will give you more time to compile your defence and for the data from your SAR to appear.2

If you did not ask for a reply as it was just a courtesy letter, tell them just that.
Giving your data in this industry is dangerous.
The PPC has 30 days to respond, if they don't report them to the ICO2 -
