Wrong name on ebay - how can we change it?

I've had an ebay account for some time. Recently, my partner decided to open one - all in his name, using his computer. Imagine our surprise when he bought something and it arrived in the post addressed to me. We checked and, whilst - obviously - my name does not appear on any of the listed addresses, or his paypal, or anywhere where you can obviously enter and alter addresses, it is shown as the name to deal with on the page when you've successfully bid. We cannot work out how this could have been done (other than by ebay themselves linking up our address) and it is a nuisance to say the least.
Can anyone tell us how to alter this?
Many, many thanks if anyone can and sorry if this has come up before and I've not found it.

If you're using the same Paypal account, then the Account Holder's name will be shown as the addressee & the same if you have a Business Name.

If not, Check the postal addresses on eBay

Many thanks but going there just shows his name and address as we want. My name is not shown there, yet appears when he buys an item.
If we were using the same paypal accounts would that cause it? My partner has a paypal account and I do not. I have on one occasion used his on ebay - usually I prefer to pay by cheque.
Any more ideas would be much appreciated. Thank you.

It will be the address in paypal that must have your name on.

Is your email address linked to his paypal account? Just a thought.

If you pay for something with Paypal you usually get a drop down menu to select name and address (if you have more than one registered) for sending to, just select the right name.

I had a similar problem, where everything I received came addressed to my parrot's name. I never did manage to fix it except by chaning my paypal account!
