    Thanks re digital signature.

    2. Signs on the location of the retail park where parking for customers was free for 2 hours, were not able to be seen and understood upon entry when a “contract” was deemed, by the claimant, to be formed.

No. Don't make it sound like you all knew that there was a 2 hour limit.

Just state some facts about the car park, not the signs. The Template Defence thread tells you this and @Umkomaas explained what to put.

Unclear signage is already in the template.

Thanks will remove that bit about the time limit.

Please can you point me in the direction where @Umkomaas has explained what to put? I'm not finding it in the template defence thread.

    Hope this is better:

    2. The defendant cannot recall the alleged contravention or identify the possible driver due to the time elapsed. The defendant is aware of the car park in question, as a previously frequent visitor to the retail park. And a regular shopper Boots.

The acknowledgement should come through very quickly. Check your spam folder if you get nothing this afternoon by way of auto-reply into your main email account. Check your MCOL history too. Keep on top of it; you may need to send another email.  There can be delivery issues when using Gmail and Hotmail addresses.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

I resent using Outlook and received the acknowledgement instantly!

  • I've checked MCOL and can see my defence was received, but the date on MCOL is 16/8 which would be one day late!
I have not received my Directions Questionnaire from the CCBC, should I wait, chase CCBC or download one?
