Downpipe drain advice please

A while ago one of the lovely plumbing experts posted up a drain fitting for use where downpipes leading into the surface water drainage pipes could be blocked by leaf debris, instead of relying on hedgehog thing in the gutter. I can't really describe it better than that! The sort of thing you shove your gloved hand in to the drain to drag the grot out.

Does anybody recognise this description to point me in the right direction please?

It fits inline in the downpipe, and you clear it at waist height.

Full name is Floplast leaf/debris interceptor gully - Not a particularly cheap item, but well worth it in my opinion. Waiting for the end of a spell of CBA to fit a third one on a new downpipe.

Has anyone else noticed an increase in this in recent weeks?
I find a good way of dealing with it is to find a seat in a shady and breezy area and doing a crossword.

More than just a few weeks.
I'll often sit outside in an evening (after 10PM), a large glass of port in one hand, and a cat curled up on my lap. Fell asleep out there for an hour or so on Sunday.

Might have to go with one of those. We had loads of trades all turn up this morning at the same time and by the time I got to the groundworker, he'd already fitted a standard fitting and I hadn't the heart to make him change it. He's had such a horrible job trying to get out the old pipework which was encased in thick concrete.
