Green energy credit balance from Shell
I received my final bill with a credit balance from Green energy in November 2021 and I was in the middle of a switch to Octopus when Green collapsed. I have been chasing my SOLR: Shell Energy for this credit balance since I received that final bill. The people on the shell customer service line have told me 3 times that my credit balance has been processed a cheque is in the post and to wait 10 working days. None of these 3 cheques have ever arrived. They have now escalated this to a formal complaint. Has anybody had this experience and any suggestions on what to do next.

Shell are much easier to deal with via Twitter. After much back and forth myself Twitter gained an instant redone and a cheque was issued within minutes. The staff there know what they're doing. Have a copy of your bill to hand, so photograph should do the job.Others here have also used this method, myself included. There was someone on here who kept refusing to sign up to Twitter, kept on with the emails and telephone calls. When they finally joined Twitter and sent Shell a direct message, they got their cheque.0
