Erratic electricity usage.

I am concerned about erratic energy consumption. To give some background we have a 3.5kw PV solar system and we live in a 4 bed house but its just the two of us. We recently had a new smart electricity meter fitted (Jun 22 but its not currently commissioned correctly so still waiting on the engineer returning to complete…

I would think that the fact it's taken you 2 years and a meter change to notice how much was being used will go against you. Any way to prove a fault has gone when the meter was changed, you paid the bills at the time with no query, energy company is only going to say - nothing to see here.

Keep a close eye on things going forward, monitor use, check bills, you won't get caught the same way again.
